Welcome Students!
The College of Forestry at Oregon State University is one of the world’s premier forestry and natural resource schools and has been educating professionals for over 100 years. Our programs are ranked among the very best in North America. Our world-class faculty and modern facilities combined with remarkable access to local forests and private industry make us the educational program of choice for the very best students.
We offer many undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students for a wide variety of careers in the public and private sectors. We operate about 14,000 acres of College Forests, most of it within minutes of campus. Oregon State University is a Land Grant, Sea Grant, and Space Grant university, an NCAA Division I university, and a member of the
Pac-10 athletic conference.
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Current undergraduate students will find helpful information on the Student Services Office webpages and especially the Current Students section or through their academic department:
- Forest Ecosystems & Society for students majoring in Natural Resources (NR), Recreation Resource Management (RRM), and Tourism & Outdoor Leadership (TOL). TOL students will also find the Cascades Campus website very informative.
- Forest Engineering, Resources, and Management for students majoring in Forest Engineering (FE), Forest/Civil Engineering (FE/CE), Forest Management (FM), Forest Operations Management (FOM).
- Wood Science and Engineering for students majoring in Renewable Materials (RM) or Wood Science & Technology (WST).
GRADUATE STUDENTS
Future graduate students will want to visit the Graduate Programs webpage for information on the processes involved in discovering areas of interest, finding a major professor, and applying to the College.
